The Russia-China (and Latin America) Strategic Partnership

Russia’s Vladimir Putin (left) and China’s Xi Jinping meet at APEC in November.(Reuters/Kim Kyung-Hoon)
Its interesting to notice how they all seem to be getting along. China keeps making deals with countries in Latin America, recently made a $2.3 billion currency-swap deal with Argentina not long after announcing RT en EspaƱol (Russian TV in Spanish) . The China-Russia Alliance was done before the Ukraine crisis even started. I very much doubt Putin would have made such a move without China’s support. At the same time, you see the western media focusing on how bad the economic sanctions have hurt Russia, but then you have Russians, even a Russian blog reader that commented here, saying that things aren’t that bad and that they’ve seen a lot worse.

1) The criticism by the New York Times and its defense of "independent media" is two-faced hypocrisy. The Times has,on multiple occasions, shown that its lips is pressed firmly to the buttocks of the billionaires and that its mission is to deceive the American voters day in and day out. In my opinion, it is one of the most dishonest newspapers out there. Several examples available on request.
2) The Times has survived only because of a huge bailout from Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim:

The last time I checked, one did not become a billionaire in Mexico by being a strong defender of the Little People and a passionate advocate of clean government.
